With effect from 13 May, 2011, an infoline of the population census has been set up by the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic. Call center operators will be available to the public during the census term, i.e. from 13 May to 6 June 2011, 8-20.00, including Saturday and Sunday.
Census Infoline has a resolution to serve residents. The Statistical Office of the SR therefore, kindly ask the media that for obtaining information on the census it is necessary to contact the Statistical Office as usual. Census Takers should turn to the Census District Supervisors for help.
Calls to the Infoline will be charged for the cost of a local call, i.e. the caller will be charged similarly as in case of any fixed line call made in the territory of the Slovak Republic. Calls from mobile network will be charged according to the rate applicable by the respective mobile operator for fixed line calls.
